• Slow tractor race rules
1. No garden tractors or homemade tractors (tractors must be factory stock)
2. Must be sixteen to enter
3. Only antique tractors 1970 and earlier
4. No hydrostatic transmissions allowed
5. Must engage clutch when horn sounds (no hesitation at the start line)
6. No passengers allowed during the race
7. The driver must stay on the seat
8. The driver cannot touch the brake or clutch (hand or foot) during the race.
9. Tractor must move forward in a straight line.
10. Nothing can be attached to the rear of the tractor.
11. If the tractor stops or dies during the race, you will be disqualified
12. The first heat will be allowed a do-over. If they request a do-over they must use the time from the second run.
13. The minimum tire pressure allowed is 8 pounds.
We will only check tire pressure on the 3 slowest tractors if requested by another competitor or race officials.
